Nadia, intent of apologizing for apparently insulting Cally last night in her fervour for drinking games, crossed the hall to give the door to 508 a knock.

"Do you need an aspirin or anything?" Nadia shook her head. "Just don't tell me this happened after you stomped off last night. I'm really sorry I called you a weenie."

"Can you get me some ice, then?" Cally said. "I'm kinda not up for a whole lot of movin' around. Plus, trying to keep this a secret for awhile. Hopefully."

"No problem. If we can get the swelling down, I can show you how to mask any bruising with some good concealer," Nadia jumped up to run for the ice. "I'll be right back!"

"Well, we'll see. I am very good at covering up bruises. But we do have to get the swelling down first." Nadia held out an ice pack.
