her recent post, the Pop Britannia series is now sadly finished. It's been interesting watching the rise and fall of pop music in Britain over the past 50 years and compare it to what I actually enjoy or at the very least remembered

I'm still not convinced that Led Zepplin, Black Sabbath and Deep Purple shouldn't have had at least minor mentions as they were in the charts and by definition... to be in the charts you have to be popular enough. Stairway to heaven or Smoke on the water were everywhere when they came out and for ages afterwards.
I don't think you'll lose your spot to my little post... mine is far too negative about the missing elements ;)
