I've been following this already, isn't it wonderful? Somehow I missed the second half of the last one. Man, was I confused when I went to read the last one.
I don't know if any other physicists would be offended, but I certainly wasn't. I love little jokes like that, ones that show that some aspects of physics are widely known and people feel they can be affectionate with them. I'd hate for physics to be something you put in a glass case and never touch or get dirty or besmirch with bad jokes *shudders* It was a really cute joke too. anti-sarcasm!*sniggers*
*laughs* the bits that I'm aware of - like anti-matter and splitting particles and dark matter (?) are cool. I just never know what's real physics and what's sci-fi. The physics on the school curriculum over here when I did it was basically two years of rolling a toy car down a plank of wood that we put at increasing slants, and then working out how fast it was going.
We did something with electricity, but I got kicked out of that class for trying to hook someone up to the power pack *g*

Considering it's 9:40am, and I'm actually awake, today might be a good day, if I can actually get something done, lol.

I'd definitely put Marx on my list of personal heroes too. His ideas and theories inform some really basic tenets of my belief system.

I'm really sorry about the physics thing... I failed at science, so if I said something that offends physicists, I take it back *g*
