My spouse said it was time to go to bed. I was just finishing up snagging some icons from Vamptastica, and decided to take one last peek at my friends page, and Oh My Gosh! I saw a Spangel fic by you, which I thought was weird. I was skimming through your intro and I saw my name and Oh My Gosh! You wrote me a Spangel fic, you sweetie. I haven't even read it yet - I uploaded it to my Palm so I can read it in bed, which is such a perfect spot I think. So real comments tomorrow, but thank you so much. This is just wonderful!

I wanted to give you something, and I looked at your profile page and Spangel was the only pairing that you had listed, so there you go. Nothing is too much for you. I actually enjoyed writing this hoping that it was something you'd like.
I love that you said you skimmed the intro and saw your name. You didn't see your name at the top of the picture? Happy Birthday Carin.
Thank you hon for the help with the background info and for being so awesome.
You may not know, but my Spangel, how I see them in my mind has been very much influenced by a piece that you posted last November. You called it, What You Can but in my mind, what I call it is The Forlorn Hope fic.
I think that if anyone read that and then this they'd have an ah hah moment. Okay...I get it. Because I think the fact that Angel was always so damned toppy and smug is the way I see him written more often than not. And this one is just the opposite.
In my mind Spike and Angel share something that no one else ever could because of the one trait they have in common they share with no one else. As you show so well in What You Can.
I hope you aren't thinking, OMG, I wish she'd stop gushing, but really when I think of Spangel that one thing you wrote is how I picture them in my mind. That one kind of ripped my heart out, but in a good way.
It was a short fic, but one of my all time favorite Spangel things ever.
I've read several very good epic type Spangel fics, 30 or 40 chapters, but they were all AU.
That fic was short but not AU and very descriptive of their canon selves.
I know that you don't watch SPN but everything that I write for Dean and Sam I try to base in canon from the show.
I don't think I'd ever be able to write AU anything. LOL
Oh, except the f/f thing I posted last week. That was kind of AU. *winks* It was just an excuse to be able to post f/f, I had to put some recognizable faces to it. LOL I'm kind of sneaky that way.
