Real life update. Good News for softbluebuddy.

I had an appointment with my neurosurgeon today for my 3 month follow up from anterior cervical neck fusion.

My surgeon and I are both exceedingly happy with my results. I had a severely compromised spinal cord from a herniated disc in addition to nerve root impingement. I had problems with my feet,

It's so good to read somebody else's good news. I bought a book on muscles and bones of the body a couple of months ago and reading your post was easy because I didn't have to go and look up where all your bits and pieces were!

This surgeon would have really appreciated your comments. Although he probably meets patients like you all the time, to be told how grateful you are for getting you back on your feet must have really touched him.

You bought a book about muscles and bones? Are you taking a class, or were you just curious after all these years? I hope you didn't need it because you were all messed up! But I do remember you mentioning the physio in your journal and again to jhobbit the other day. Hopefully you are back to normal?

It really is amazing how a man that I have seen on 6 different occasions over a 3 month period could have become the most important man in my life, other than my husband.
