I love that book, so was happy to share, and it really was the closest book at hand when I got the meme.

I am doing okay. New meds are helping a lot with the asthma. I can actually breathe well and am not coughing. They may have hit on the right combo for me, as long as no side effects, this may be it. Thanks for asking.

It is a great book, but it has so many life affirming moments, but also moments that will tear your heart out, so be forewarned. It is a true story after all.

I edited the post and put a pic of the book cover there. They do have it on Amazon, even if you would get it at the library, they have excerpts you can look at on Amazon. If not available at the library, I think Amazon had it used for under two bucks.

It was an amazing story. Very life affirming. I have a very solid relationship with my dog, Buddy. That is why he is part of my user name. His face and ears are also very soft. But, he is black, not blue. The blue is because it is my favorite color. I love him so much and he loves me back unconditionally.
