I think Sam wanted to be caught and/or put in his place. But maybe Dean didn't want Sam topping from the bottom. Didn't want Sammy pushing his buttons.

With a prompt of acid kisses I do not think that a happy ending was even remotely possible. Maybe if I had more than a hundred words.
