Your beta goofed up again. ;) First paragraph: "bathroom were" should be "bathrooms were." I can only claim that I was blinded by...something. ;)

Anyway. I love this universe, and I love this part of it. *hugs poor Xander* Quite apart from the brain-melting hotness of the sex scene, which is, yes, hot. :)

ack! I loved this! SO GREAT! Seriously gut wrenching at the beginning. Ok, if I quote all the parts I liked I will quote the entire thing, so, to sum up: That gut wrenching thing is meant to be a compliment - you do gut wrenching incredibly well - I particularly loved (and, you know, wanted to make it better) when Xander was stuck motionless at his desk. It let me know just how much he was balled up inside. The whole Xander/Wes interaction in the early paragraphs rings so emotionally true that I almost felt like crying myself. And the way you describe Xander's panic outburst dulling into instant exhaustion... not resolved yet, but not as scared now that he's shared it with Wes - I had to go reread it three times just because it was good enough to soak up again and again ( ... )

Oh that was painful and awful and hurtful and gorgeous and beautiful and sweet and loving. Poor poor Xander. I can see why he'd be feeling like they were trying to get rid of him. They're a thousand kinds of fools. But they made it better.

And wow did they make it better! My god that was hot. But it's more than that. I love that you show three people having a relationship with each other and it's a real relationship where they all work on it and build it and worry about it. And it's not just sex and more sex. I love it.
