I am lying on a couch with my laptop, alone, in the place I am housesitting waiting for someone to hold a pillow over my head. I ended up taking an emergency trip to the doctors last night after my symptoms got a little scarier, and am now faced with getting surgery to get my tonsils out as soon as possible as they infection is starting to affect

I know a tonsillectomy is a scary possibility, especially for a singer, but I swear it makes life SO much better afterward. I had my tonsils and adenoids out at the same time, and it was basically life-transforming. I also have family members who have been chronically sick the way you've described and the surgery cured them completely. Either way, *HUGS* and good luck, and I hope you feel better soon.
