John/Sherlock And maybe with Jim/Blair as chief of the the sentinel/guardian federation or secret organization. Mycroft as the britain off course is the representant of the federation of secret society in england. Maybe John met Jim in the war?
[Since these are meant to be comment fics (i.e. the length of one comment), I had to drop some of the backstory and work with one scene from this. Hope this works for you! This was inspired by my friend taking one look at this prompt and going “Sherlock would be a terrible guide.”]

I love how you put Blair in this and you know even for the little bit that John won't ever change Sherlock for no one. But i know Sherlock must he awesome in research and knows all and obviously at crimes scenes, and both of them are a force of nature! And we know Sherlock will do anything of importance for John, but chemicals are not important for him ;___;
