Last year, I offered comment!fic in a number of fandoms as a Christmas present to all you lovely folk out there. I got some wonderful prompts and really enjoyed myself writing ficlets for them, so I’ve decided to do the same this year. For those of you who don’t know how this works, let’s go over things:

My prompt is Danny/Rachel + Grace: Grace's first Christmas. I want to know how the santa suit tradition got started. : )

Rachel's teasing reference to "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" and Danny's "playful growl" are both CUTE and amusing. I like how Danny is hesitant to explain the family Santa suit tradition because he feels it pales in comparison to Rachel's upperclass background. Little Gracie is completely ADORABLE with her blinking, shrieking, and finger chewing. : ) Rachel is amusing fighting her impulse to laugh at Grace and Danny's antics. I'm glad that she gives in to those feelings. Danny is ADORABLE playing with Gracie, and I LOVE his quote about how "mak[ing] someone happy" supercedes "pride and dignity". : ) Rachel's final observation about how lucky she is to have found Danny is wonderful too.
