Admit it. How many of you thought the title was just riffing off the title of the third ep? >D *raises hand* So I'm really pleased at the end quote from Alice in Wonderland - it fit there so well.
I love the conversation about taxes, and the way it frames their conversation - it makes the conversation feel more real and poignant from it. I think I've mentioned before that I like your Sherlock-voice; I'm going to repeat it now, because I loved it. I like how you wrote their relationship, and how John balances him out.
I like the references to the ACD cases that wasn't in BBC.
Yay! This was an amazing finish to this story - I really liked how they fell back into their lives, with Sherlock slowly realising what John means to him and John knowing what happens but not spoiling it for Sherlock, just letting them move forward from the new events created... this was just a lovely end to an amazing story. Thanks so much for sharing :D
Ohhh, this was wonderful! You have no idea how it was this past week, bringing up your main page HOPING for an update. I really like this twist on the story, and your characterization of John was spot on.
