Christmas Comment!fics

Merry Christmas, everyone!

Sometimes I write seasonal fics for various events. This Christmas, I thought I’d do something different instead.

I’m taking prompts for ficlets in any of the fandoms listed below. Please have a look at what I will/won’t write for each fandom before making your requests.

[Eeee I was totally not expecting any MCR requests, since I didn't post this to any of the comms. Thank you for letting me try my hand at them!]

i won't even wish for snow

sure you don’t want to come over? Mikey texts him.

Frank stares at the message for a while, then sighs. It feels appropriately dramatic, so he does it again. The dog in front of him whines and licks his hand.

“Yeah,” Frank says, looking at the dog. “I guess you’ve got it worse, huh.”

The dog looks at him pleadingly. Frank scratches the top of its head and it just melts into a little puddle of doggy goo. A half-grin tugs at Frank’s lips.

“This kind of sucks too, though,” Frank tells it. The dog ignores him. Frank bites his lip and one-handedly replies to Mikey: yeah. have a good time. merry xmas!

He gets a response all of two seconds later, which, okay, Mikey seems to be symbiotically connected to his phone sometimes, but that’s just pushing it. When Frank flips his phone open to check the message, though, it’s not from Mikey.

And even though they're totally not together It's still HAPPY and FLUFFY and CHRISTMAS and YAY!

*is making happy noises and munching on godiva truffles and drinking eggnog*
