What I have always loved about your Ianto and Jack is their ability to know one another. They know what the other one wants before I think they know it themselves-- mental discussion beside the point. I love it. Thanks for sharing.

Great fic. I absolutely love Ianto's point of view about the Doctor. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm a die hard Who fan, but I honestly have to force myself to forget the 10th Doctors interactions with Jack, just because it pisses me off so much. You've nailed Ianto perfectly here too. He's not ignorant of all the good the Doctor did, and isn't just hating on him for petty reasons. He has had such limited interactions with him, all that matters to Ianto is that he hurt someone he loved very deeply, and didn't really seem to care. What I love about Ianto is that even with glowing recommendations from everyone, Ianto isn't that much impressed with the Doctor.
lol, I can see the Doctor even offering to have Ianto as a companion, and Ianto being completely unimpressed. I think it would shock 10 so much. After all, who turns down a trip through time and space?

I really loved this. The dynamic between your Jack and Ianto is very natural, and something unique to them. I think you have their relationship almost perfect.
