I didn't want to kill Misty! But unfortunately, she had to die. Along with Ianto's accident, her death is a reminder to Jack (as if he needed anymore) about the very real fragility and mortality of his lover. Poor things, I torture them so.

Callista will have explanations, but the implications of this new mental link won't really hit for quite a while yet...
