It's about what Hughes was thinking about. Hopefully a new take on things, but one I couldn't help but see happening.

OKay *grins* First things first. I love the idea behind this...the notion of thinking and how its Hughes job but it oftens comes back to bite him. That he is trained to think but sometimes he really, really doesn't want to.

Hmmm, I love that latter half the best. It flowed a lot better than the first half that seemed a little...passive? Maybe a little reworking the sentence structure is all that's needed and removing a few 'that' would do a trick.

But I loved and adored the ending. That was sheer brilliance.

i say. i say i say. that stuff you sent me - the first bits of FMA i mean - wasn't bad! pretty enjoyable actually! heh heh i liked the bit where whatshisname - edward's hand is all ripped apart and it's actually metal. nice :D

anyway. i have no idea about anything up there, but this isn't one of your bests, i thought. it's got some of your flavour in it, but it sounds a bit machine-like.
