Just called my roommate. He's had his Peranadss (n.) surgery, and is expected to remain at the He’idaga (n.) hospital for some time yet.

The Roommate has come through a heart procedure for something they found while treating his ulcerated foot. He's up and about on a limited basis, but may still be in hospital another three WEEKS to finally get his foot fixed.  He's been moved uptown to St. Luke's Hospital, next to the Columbia campus.
