So, I don't know what the rules are about linking to fic you are about to recommend, therefore, if this is inappropriate, let me know.

I went diving for fanfiction this last weekend.  Starsky and Hutch fanfiction (if you didn't already pick up on that by the title of this entry) but I just wasn't connecting to any of it.  Some of what I started to

I think the only etiquette involved is that you let the author know that you're reccing them.

I don't recognize the author (but I'll bet my fabulous beta, Keri, who publishes 'zines in that fandom, knows all about the her. *g*) I do recognize that little ribbon next to some of the stories. I have one of those in that fandom for *shudder* *twitch* best OFC.

Good to know, thanks for the insight. If you are a Starsky girl, I imagine you'd like JoJo's stories quite a bit. Hurt Starsky, and a gritty-real feeling to the telling. The visual of the on screen series comes into my head.

*hang head* Keri was thrilled and I was kind of mortified. But at least it wasn't a romantic OFC. It was a long lost daughter for Hutch (who I planned on killing off, but Keri wouldn't let me.) It's all Ben Stiller's fault! *nodding vigorously*

I actually came by here to see if your SPN story "In Reverse" was housed somewhere other than Fanfic.net, but this was a happy coincidence to find that you've also found SH you like!

Thank you. Me too! I just clicked on it again, and though the link is working in this message, the Bay City Library site itself seems to be having problems. Man.

And, In Reverse, lol, that's been on my mind. It's not housed here. I suppose I should consider that, but I'm the first to admit it's a beastly story and... The formatting over here sometimes drives me crazy. In Reverse would end up chopped into a thousand bits by the time I was done getting it set up here. And also, if I start looking at it again, I'll want to edit and tweak and cut, and...

So for now, fanfiction.net it is.

I may bring some of the shorter stuff over though. I've got a couple here.
