In the distance, Sammy is yelling his name. It comes to Dean’s ears over and over and over again, rushed, pained, as ragged and indistinct as the ground he’s dragging over. He sucks in air to yell back-Run, Sam! Go! Get Dad!-but a bouncing rock against his ribs steals all his wind.

And Rambo!Sammy is always one of my favourites! Nice to see him rescuing Dean for a change! You really got across his sense of panic, of knowing he was the only chance Dean had, although he's really still just a kid and should never have been put in that position.

Really great fic! Dean seems to have a problem with Wendigos. :( Poor boy! They didn't know what it was, but they happened to have the supplies needed to kill it. Good planning. :D Poor Sammy. :( He really dug down and pulled it all out, tho. Better to burn down a mountain than to lose his brother!
