possible shiny new years dresses

this is mostly just for me to keep track of all the dresses i am considering for new years, but i figured maybe someone else is looking for one too.

silver pleated empire waist sweet heart neckline, city chic

black one shoulder mesh and sequins, next

black sequin short sleeve tie back, next

black with stripey coloured sequins, dorothy perkins

I am LOVING the city chic one, and also the Faith 21 dress.

But...do they make anything that ISN'T a micro-mini? I love those dresses, but they are so short (for you, fab- but on me, I like a little more coverage, even with tights)!

yeah, i like short dresses but that one might be pushing it. they don't show the model's full legs, so you can't really tell how short it is, but yeah, extremely so.

thanks! i think those two are safe bets, and probably better considering the money i'm going to be putting into this for shipping and whatnot, but i kind of want something more edgy and fashionable. at least i have a good while to think about it.

i like the first one it looks like my new years dress from last year, in cut.
and i like the the black sequin, tie back one from next.

the black sequin one i am scared will not be very flattering to my tummy and i would not even attempt to return something to the uk. what do you think of the zig zag sequin one? after conferencing with claire last night i think that's the front runner.

I cruised by to see what your own LJ was like, wanted to comment on this post.

I ADORE that first one, OMFG!!! I was thinking of getting a clubbing dress, or something for ocassions like NYE or V-Day, or what have you, and I'd so go with that silver first one. For real. With either silver or red heels. And silver bangles. And some of that silver star wire stuff twisted around with some snowflake wire for a hair piece/band. MMM yes!!
