The first thing Seely had done once he'd woken up today was shower. A lot. And then some more for good measure.

Right now, though, he was shoving his things back into his bag with far more force than he needed to, because if nothing else this weekend had made any sense, certain parts of Saturday's radio broadcast had been far too clear

Aravis had woken with what could only be described as a crying hangover.

She knocked lightly on Seely's door, sighing slightly and wishing she didn't have to have this conversation.

"See?" she said simply.

"So you want him for a future father-in-law, is that what you're saying?"

[notqueenyet]

"...is that really a possibility?" she asked slowly, staring at him. "Insanity of the weekend aside, I don't think that is really terribly likely, Seely."

"Well, no," Seely admitted, sulking just a little.

She rolled her eyes again. "I don't know why you're being so combative."

[socksofcool]

"I didn't have a very good weekend," Seely replied, still sulking. "He threw me into the pond."

"That seemed to happen a lot this weekend," she mused.

"I slept on a park bench."

[notqueenyet]

"...why?"

[socksofcool]

"I don't know! The same reason you fell in love with Gavin!"

"What else happened to you this weekend?" she wondered.

[socksofcool]

"Nothing much," Seely replied, his voice petulant, since this had definitely not been his planned weekend. "Slept on a park bench, got into a fight with Bond."

"What did you fight over?" she wondered. "Aside from the mother thing. Unless that was it."

[socksofcool]

"Pretty much," Seely mumbled. "Whoever she was, she was too good for him."

"He's not that awful," she sighed.
