It was Seely's birthday. This meant that instead of going to the luau, he was dressed up and waiting for Aravis at the abandoned shack.

No reason he was all but bouncing though. Really.

Aravis was dressed rather prettily, and with much more care than if she'd gone to the luau -- though, in celebration of the season, she'd tucked a few flowers into her curls.

When she knocked lightly on the door to the abandoned shack, though, she was holding a small package in her hands.

Seely didn't quite bound over to open the door, although he was beaming at Aravis. "Hi."

"Hello, birthday boy," she said, smiling up at him and going onto her toes to kiss him hello.

Seely grinned into the kiss. "Have a good day?"
