What You Need To Know About S.E.E.S
SEES or the “Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad” is basically a sort of “Youth Watch” without being connected to the Watch; it’s giving the younger guests of Death City something to do, and a way to help out with the war effort without being directly involved in the fighting. It also is giving the stability and the slightly militarized feel that some people need to experience before they move beyond the group and go to join the Watch, Detective Agency, or just go out on missions full time.
This is an activities group, not a mission based one. There is a leader and people who will be in charge when it comes to certain activities, but there is no “leader” to follow beyond having a person who organizes these activities for everyone, and is there if anyone has any questions, needs help, or just needs someone to talk to.
This group will work on building the trust and bonds you will need to move on in your life; in this case, to move on and find a partner for a Meister/Weapon team, and then fully go on to do regular missions.
Prerequisites for Joining as a member of S.E.E.S
* Must be 20 years of age or under. Fairly simple.
* Must have the time to give to this group; if you are in the Watch, you need to make sure these activities will not conflict with your schedule. Both SEES and the Watch are willing to work with you to make that possible, so do not hesitate to ask for help.
* Again, time constraints; if you’re in the Watch and have a full time job, then you might need to cut back on something, or this is not the group for you.
* You must be willing to participate in every activity that is put together. No exceptions. [OOC: Of course OOC issues are completely different and will be handled as such.]
So What Do I Get Out of This?
Sorry, you’re not getting paid for this. What you’ll get is more CR from a wide range of people, and the potential to find a Weapon or Meister through natural interaction rather than two people just put together by someone else. You’ll also have more activities for your character to get involved with, and will be a help when BREW decides to bring in new people.
Additional Information
* Filtering. Just like the Watch, there are no special communicators or anything; if you want to filter it to all SEES members, just put up a SEES filter. (ie. [SEES FILTER] )
* Activities. There will be one activity done a month. Hopefully.
* Logging and CR. There will be some activities that are done specially for the time of the month, or activities that can be handwaved as done every day; activities like arts and crafts can be handwaved by your characters as being done in a certain location at any given time. When it comes time for BREW to bring in new people, the activity will be more along the lines of helping get baskets or bags ready for the new arrivals.
* As of right now, SEES does not have an office (though it should soon) so everyone be on the lookout for places to hold these group meetings beyond the park where training activities will go.
* Have an idea for an activity that hasn’t been done yet? Drop a line here! All we ask is that any ideas be put down here with the subject label [OOC - Activity Idea] and then the description of the activity. Some ideas may need to be run through a mod first, but we can discuss it here first.
