well, i guess school must have started again. because i've been to two museums this week, wrote three pages of an introduction for my thesis topic/seminar proposal, and almost finished my professors' memoir - which is one of the finest books i have read. i spent a long time today considering the impact of rauschenberg's combines and even pulled ( Read more... )

on the long ride home from seeing brokeback mountain at bam last night i came to the conclusion that i can't really formulate a best of 2005 movie watching list just yet, not after that film shaking it all up so late in the game. i also realized i should carry a hankie more often. holy fuck, that was depressing. but beautiful.
