game was AWESOME!!!! I loved it! i jumped up and down and up and down on the couch and screamed "RUN!!!!!" and "DEFENSE!!!!!" and "ATTACK!!!!" all the time. my voice is gone by now! XD

Germany 4-2 Costa Rica

Ah, the world championship started today, I was really excited. Unfortunately I missed the opening ceremony and ate too many cookies, nevertheless I saw a good match. Germany seems to have everything under control, but this was a false conclusion. We were attacking permanently and Costa Rica only had a few shots on goal, but these were always dangerous. Our offense was good, our defense, especially the offside trap, wasn't. Costa Rica have had some technical deficits and played very defensive, but they got Paulo Wanchope who scored two times. Fortunately Germany scored four times and claimed the victory. I lost some money in betting for no sixth goal (I couldn't resist) ... I can live with it because some hours ago I won some cent in cricket ;)

Poland 0-2 EcuadorPoland, they were static, lethargic and got no tactical orientation. Maybe they were playing against there own coach because he sorted out seven players after the successful qualification

And yeah, defense was baad, but I am sure it will be better with the next game (Muhaa, it's great to write a comment anf make a prognose for the next game, which has already happened!XD)

That's so unfair ;) But thanks for the comment, I like to read them :) However it is not easy to find them when you only received an e-mail with "Reply to your comment" ;) I don't want to read the comments in that e-mail so I've searched through my whole postings/comments/whatever ... and missed one because I didn't expect that you will comment something after one week, nevertheless it's very nice :) But I'm to shy to hug you for that, so just imagine that I've hugged you ;)

Yes, I am betting for cricket, I've won 5-6 Euro yesterday ... and lost much more in football. So I have to bet for cricket because I'm not very lucky in betting for football anymore ;)

Poland sucked. I never ever in my life saw my father say nothing at all. O.O so that was a shock. at home we cursed and screamed and shouted and we were OUTRAGED! I don't think they will leave the group with Germany. They would ahve to win with Costa Rica and make at least a draw against Germany. But only if Costa Rica wins with Ecuador! But with such a defense...Not really realistic.

I don't think the game against Poland will be boring! Poland has nothing to loose anymore they have to win, so their strategie will be very open (offensive, is that the word??? as in antonym to defensive) and offering the possibilities for the german team to attack.
