Inspired by interactions in the Hotel California Panfandom RPG, this is a joint project between two women who adored the idea of Jack recruiting Buffy to Torchwood. Perhaps they adored it a little too much, but that remains to be seen.

I don't normally like crossovers, even with shows I really like, since there's a large number of pitfalls they usually stumble on (like "Hey, we're from different shows! Let's have sex!" or "Hey, let me tell you all my dark secrets, even though I'd never tell the people from my own show!"

But you've avoided them all, and produced a very good fic as well. Keep 'em coming!

Thank you so much! It's been suggested to us that Buffy and Jack should be sleeping together, but we're like "Um... no." Not in this fic. We like their significant others too much ;) We hope you'll continue to enjoy it as much as we enjoy writing it!

Dunno if I've commented before, but I'm enjoying this. The 'voices" sound right for Jack, Ianto and Buffy. very entertaining.

Merciful Zeus! This fan fic is wonderful, I can here the characters as I read and that is the highest complement I can give to a fan fic writer. You turned me on to fan fic and lead me to Hotel California, I am even considering joining. After watching Children of Earth (amazing in the way that makes me feel as if my heart has been wrenched out and left me wanting more)another ep of So Buffy met Jack was just what I needed. I hope what I think is happening is happening and on that note... I know this is only based on the interactions in the Hotel but would Spike and Jack know each other.

Jack and Spike don't know each other here. We thought it would be more fun to reset that particular relationship and start again :) For the purposes of this story, the only person Jack knows from Buffy's world is Buffy.
