When we first came to the city, TWO of them got into our apartment and WE DID NOT KNOW WHAT THE FUCK THEY WERE!! We came from Florida (land of mosquitos) and were still like, "AHHHHH!!!!" *foosh* *excavate*
The manager of the building had to come in and kill them for us. He then explained that they are apparently harmless and won't sting. BUT WHO CARES IF THEY SCARE THE F--K OUT OF YOU?!
LOL! I'm usually the mass slaughterer of my family, which I get from my Mom, but NONE of us wanted to toy with what looked like mutant mosquito. To this day, I HATE even regular mosquitos. I haaaave to kill them when I find them in a room. ANd may I say, for the record, if you see a person moving about a room with their hands held in the cymbal position -- don't assume them insane, OBVIOUSLY we are trying to kill something.
I hate mosquitoes, too, so I don't blame you (when I lived in Alaska, they grew to mutant monster size. It was scary D:). Mosquito hawks, however, don't bite people, which make me happy, so I generally leave them alone....that was the first time one ever really bothered me in all the years I've lived here, so it kinda freaked me out, lol.
