Halloween was good, though rather quiet. Zack & I went out and had lunch together and saw Silent Hill: Revelation in 3D. (There were only 2 other people in the entire theater with us, which was nice.) The movie was....meh. Story-wise, it was kind of a mess, but visually it wasn't terrible. The acting

I missed the last episode of American Horror Story, but what are you thinking so far?

Your holiday sounds pretty fun. I like your pumpkin muffins! The Jack-O-Lantern looks super neat, too. :3 I felt mixed about the new Silent Hill movie. :|

I WANT to like this season of AHS, but there is definitely a lot of stuff in the story so far that I could do without. But I'll still keep watching it because 1. horror on tv, yay 2. I seem drawn to horror stories set in hospital type settings 3. Jessica Lange is awesome. Unless it starts getting SEVERELY ridiculous, I'll probably keep watching it. XD

Awww, thanks! I just read your post, and I pretty much agree with what you said, too. It just turned into a weird mess...you can tell they TRIED, but...it still fell short. :/ It's a shame, visually it had some pretty good moments. And the 3D was done well.

And thanks again. ^^ I'm really happy that mom seems to be springing back so quickly. I like to think that since she's always had great muscle strength, that really helped her get back into the swing of things. She's not lazy! ;D

heehee, thank you! I usually try to plan ahead on our pumpkins, but with me feeling under the weather, I just did the first thing that came to mind. It turned out pretty well, though!

Yeah, I thought it was cute when she told me, too. It probably doesn't help that Rufus (the cat) got pretty stressed when mom left, so he started pooping on the floor...so of course my dad got pissed at him, since he was forced to clean it himself...So dad put poor Rufus in the Garage a few times so he wouldn't mess up the carpet. I totally don't blame him for being happy to see mom again! Now he knows he won't be going back into the garage, lol. ^^;

Aww, poor Rufus, animals think and feel much more than most people assume. I'm sure he was totally stoked when your mom got home. :)
