At least you can get manga on your Nook -- there is NO MANGA WHATSOEVER in the Android Market. And Amazon isn't much better; it has all this stuff I've never heard of.
I totally wanna pick up Uncle Yo's book about con survival, though. XD
Cute dolls! I have the Fuu one! I got the Fuu and Hikaru one like 15 years ago. Never got the Umi...
I agree with you on the manga on the Nook thing... Wth?! My mom got a Kindle and I played around on it--not as bad as I thought it was. XD I still have so many books to read, though, and I never want to part with my huge physical manga volume collection! I just like the way the shelves look full of manga, like I have a bookstore. XD
Ah, really?! I always wanted to get all the dolls, but I never got to because people always wanted an arm & a leg for them...of course, that was a long time ago, when if you wanted Japanese anime toys, you had to mail order them from specialty shops and whatnot. XD
I still wouldn't mind getting Hikaru and Umi...but juding from eBay, they're not that cheap. :/
The Nook is really nice, considering I have the "cheap" one. The screen is really easy to read, and there's a lot of options on downloads...I was just under the impression that there'd be more manga from the stuff I read...but apparently not. :/ There's supposedly ways to mod your reader so you can download scanlations to it manually...but I dunno if I wanna spend the time to do so. XD I'm lazy!
That's what I did--order from a specialty shop! I think they were only $20 each, too--I can't see myself spending more than that. I opened and displayed them and I can't bring myself to part with them just yet! But man, they would have been worth $75 or so if I'd kept them in the box!
