I'm just old enough to have gone through the "girls wear skirts/dresses and boys wear trousers" school thing. In the winter, we'd have our snow pants on going to school, but have to remove them on arrival. I remember being rather giddy when we were allowed to wear pants/jeans to school.

And, ah, the 70s. Great music, good drugs, bad hair, and worse clothing. And, Disco. You'd absolutely have to go to a disco. It's quite indescribable watching your average ho-hum Joe think they're Travolta from Saturday Night Fever. Or, maybe it's indescribable due to the liquor and other *koff* unmentionables...

I don't want to be Capt. Jack. I'd love a date. Can you imagine? "So, what time period and planet would you want to go to for fun tonite?" (this is before the Doctor nabbed his time jumping thing).
