You are going longer while I'm contemplating something short and sassy. I had grown my hair out long enough that I had a real pony tail, whacked it all off to the nape of my neck. Sooooo much easier in a lot of respects - at least for my fine, stick-straight hair.

We want pictures of your half-assed ponytail. Like now. ;)

Bag o'neuroses? You and me both. ;-) My style couldn't get 1/2 that pony tail these days. NO - don't even ask - you'll not be getting pictures since lately pics of me look dorkier than ever.

So glad I'm a guy. This means that my hairdo takes about ... let's see:
Towel dry - 20 seconds
Open/apply paste/style/wash hands/close/dry hands - 60 seconds

It's 60 seconds for me too. Then 5-10 of a hair dryer after that. FFS, I can't even get my mascara on in 60 seconds!

You've seen mine. It's not long per se, but it doesn't get long. But it is very thick and full.

I had it buzzed down to a crew cut maybe 3 months ago.

Yeah, it grows out FAST.

I can help you with simple updos if you like - most of mine involve claw clips or barrettes because my hair is too fine for elastics (and buns start falling out). I've had my hair long for a decade but I spent about 5 years in my mid teens playing the fun game of "grow it all out the same length. cut bangs. decide bangs look stupid. grow bangs out the same lenght as the rest. lather. rinse. repeat" before I decided to just leave it long and all the same length, dammit.

Yay! Someone with hair competence, who'll futz about with mine! Ask Jay, it's kind of pathetic how the hair looked today.

Only one working arm at the moment. Shoulder has decided I deserve to suffer for my impudence or something. Annoying anthropomorphised body part.
