I love it that Sawyer thinks of his job with Dharma as just part of a con. That puts to rest all of the ethical questions about why he would work for such a group.

I love the idea that it might be the same pen. Great idea, and great continuity. It's little detail like that that really make a story stand out.

You did a wonderful job. I loved it! :)

Thank you so much! There's alot about Sawyer's roll in Dharma that just doesn't flow with me, but I just keep telling myself that he's a con artist at heart. He'll do anything to get the job done.

Oooh, as everyone else has already said: the pen is a stroke of pure genius. I loved this. Wonderful characterization, wonderful scene, and so beautifully and insightfully written. I love it!

Fate and irony - love that line :) And there's always something in Lost to remind you of times in your past and so that connection with the pen is just fantastic!

That's what I was thinking. The people at Lost definitely like to indulge in "reoccurring themes" and all.

Loved the idea with the pen (have actually got Boone in the pilot in my head now!) While I'm not a fan of Dharma, loved this fic!

hehe. Now that you mention it...one of those pens Boone gathered from the wreckage could have easily been Sawyer's pen of doom. :)

The pen is awesome. Really, you did an excellent job with this. It feels very Sawyer, even if sometimes I'm fairly sure I don't even know for sure what that is these days.

Thank you so much! I'm not too sure what to make of Sawyer these days either. He's so different from the character I fell in love with in S1. I don't know what to make of it anymore.
