She’s making her mark.
GUH. I'm so obsessed with H/Hr/scars right now that it's not even funny. This is so lovely. I LOVE it. <333

This ship will be the death of me because they're so...functional. I don't even know how to explain it. They work so well in fic. There's more potential there than anywhere else in HP. I just can't stop writing them. It's insane how much I can enjoy writing a ship that I'm not even sure I ship.
But yeah, I'm beyond relieved that you enjoyed this because it really was written for you. Thank you so much for the wonderful feedback and for getting it and noticing all the little things that I see in this couple and hope I'm conveying in my writing. You truly are awesome! :)

He’s used to being worshipped, used to being put on a pedestal and adored, but it’s always at arm’s length. They draw an invisible circle around him, a barrier he can’t see, but he can feel every time someone lays a hand upon him. They’re not touching him. They’re going through motions. Their gestures are never about him. They’re about something bigger, grander.
Hermione holds him and he feels it all the way through his body. The warmth of that embrace fuses to his bones, flows through his veins, settles inside his chest so it’s in tune with the rhythm of his heart. It’s a part of him.
Goddamn beautiful
Although I'm pretty sure Hermione might have a scar from Dolohov's curse. But maybe not.
