basically.. I bent wire to the shape I wanted. I used photoshop to determine how many crystals I needed (by making circles the size of the crystals and laying them out on the letter in photoshop) I purchased flatback crystals and jewelers glue. I glued the crystals to the wire on one side, let it dry, then glue them onto the other side. I then got clear plastic rods off of ebay and glued that to the bottom of the letters so I could put it into the cake. The only problems I had with it is that some letters end up floppy. letters like S that dont have much support b/c of it's shape. B has many joints that cross together, so it was sturdy... so it just took alot of messing with to get the letters to be stiff.
