It’s true the world will turn without you. The trick 
is to burn so bright
to afford such warmth
that when you leave the room
the sky gasps, knowing
a star has gone out.
Finding my words has been so hard. And then this. I've fallen in love with poesy all over again.

My LJ was wonky when you posted this, but it made such an impression that I went back to find it and I just wanted to tell you how much I love this poem. I shared it with someone today, in fact, in RL (I credited you). I keep poems I love written in a little notebook and this is one I take out from time to time to just read over. It makes me smile.
