Aww, I just loved this. And that last line killed me. Cara - you're such a secret romantic.

Such a good insight about how Cara remembered cutting captured confessor's hair as a prelude to worse and her associations with what Kahlan was asking her to do. And well, all of the hidden meanings and significance, really. Everything about the hair that's not about the hair. ;)

And make a note: scared Cara is a grumpy Cara. Let the girl hunt (and kill something) for all your sakes. LOL

I'm pretty sure Cara used to connect having feelings like sort of having a traumatic experience, when Kahlan was concerned. I mean, they are mortal enemies, and there's Cara all starry eyed over a Confessor. And she's supposed to hate the Confessor. But she doesn't. Aaand, I've lost my point. :o
