It was so interesting how you portrayed what Dahlia saw in Cara vs. what Cara saw in herself -- “You appear to know so little of me if this is the most important thing you remember.”

The two of them may have know each other for years, but I'd say Kahlan is the one who get to know the real Cara, rage, pride feelings and all.

I would have done some pretty unspeakable things to see their relationship on screen developed a bit further. Some consider it a blasphemy (seeing how I'm basically going behind my C/K OTP's back), but Cara/Dahlia pairing is just too delicious and interesting to pass up.

RAWR! I'm not quite sure the word 'accessible' has ever been that sexy before, and tbh 'accessible' is a word that has always held a tone of possibility, lol.

“Yes,” Dahlia said wistfully, gently brushing Cara’s hair off her face. “But I like your hair this way. You look so dangerous. Savage.”

I love Dahlia's assessment of Cara's new look here. Savage is such a perfect word to describe it. She really does look wild, and untamed in a way that she didn't while Mord'Sith. With her braid and full uniform she was icy and detached, but the new look is ... well, you said it best, savage.

I really loved the banter between them, it was sexy and entirely them. But I also loved how it was kind of surface, and through Cara's reactions and comments about Kahlan it was obvious that C/D lacked the deeper connection that Cara had formed with Kahlan.

I'm curious as to how come they allowed her to actually *keep* that look after being re-broken. It's quite puzzling. I would have thought that Cara herself would be the first to button up, gear up and braid her hair out of respect for the rules of the Mord'Sith order.

At first I fanwanked that she kept the 'buttoned down' look to lull Zedd into a false sense of security. It would put him more at ease if she looked like the Cara he knew, which meant the stripped down Mord'Sith uniform.

Of course, that doesn't explain why she was still all 'V' neck at the beginning of "Unbroken".

Which of course means that the reason for it was probably that the TPTB understand that the fans like to be teased with hints of Tab's jugs, lol.
