I had 3 stories started before this one happened. And finally, last night my Muse was struck by lightning after watching a wonderful fan video for the pairing. And just like magic, this story happened. I am glad that you approve. :)

Gorgeous imagery, just absolutely beautiful! And especially Emily's characterisation was lovely; she's always to attuned to everything and reads people perfectly.

I second the requests above: you need to write more! Emily/JJ is the only way to go. *g*

Yay, fic for me! Thank ya. I'm so glad you finally got a whole story written, and what a marvellous first foray it is.

If I tried to write a scene like this one, it'd probably be totally lame, but when you do it, it's lovely. I like how few words there are, but that it still becomes very clear how each of them is feeling. The story seems to be hovering somewhere between calmness and angst, which makes for a very interesting atmosphere. Characterisation was spot on, too - JJ refusing to need someone to be there for her and Emily doing her quiet reassurance thing.

Very well done - but I want you to finish that other story, too.

Oh and I am so glad I finally got it out of me. They say that beginnings are the hardest. I hope I won't struggle as much with other stories I write for this pairing. Also, I guess the right incentive is the key. :)

Loved it. This is so different from anything Ive read, Im not sure if its the way you describe your characters or the depth of this fic, but its unique and its awesome. Such a great read. Thanks heaps for sharing
