Neku was my partner for the first week. We both won, but only one of us could go on so he let me go. That meant that he had to play another round of the Game, and for that he needed another entry fee. The first time the most important thing was his memories...but the second time his entry fee was me.

...not sure. I guess I just got pulled back into the game instead of leaving. I was out for almost two weeks after Neku and I won, and I ended up waking up in the river.
