LOL! Cringeworthiness indeed, but it *works* - Erik is amazingly himself, and I loved that the reason he has to keep suffering all the horrible nicknames is that some part of him *likes* them.

Awwwww. It's so sweet, in a cracky twisted way. ;-) And of course that's why Charles is doing it, because he knows Erik needs all the silly, open and over-the-top demonstrations of affection he can get.
