The episode was okay, but not excatly outstanding. I have seen all 10 seasons recently and had to look at Wiki to get a summary for this one, while I remember other episodes in much more clarity.

Thanks. The reason that I hate this episode is that considering that Sha're had only died one episode before this, I felt this was in extremely poor taste. Daniel spent three years searching desperately for his wife, with no idea when or if he would be able to get her back and safely remove Ammaunet. She died, her child was still missing, he was given no time to grieve and then simply thrust into a relationship that turned out--again--to bring him pain. *cough* Sorry, this is a pet peeve of mine. Anyway, I forgot to mention earlier, teddibear, who made your Daniel icon there is a friend of mine and was beta-reader on my SG-1 AUs, Rediscovered Hearts and Taking the Long Way.

I felt similar. A first I was like WTF, but then Daniel got hurt and I was all Aww... =( I have a whole batch saved from teddibear, because she focused on my beloved Archaeologist Bandanna!Daniel - it's so hard to chose wich icons to use. *lol*
