His kids climbed trees with a Jaffa warrior. Their mother had more smuggling contacts than Han Solo. They had friends who lived on other planets, and for some strange reason, they had been befriended by aliens and Ascended beings on more than one occasion. Daniel had wondered sometimes how he was ever going to explain to them that Santa Claus was only pretend. Then, Santa Claus had landed on the roof and Vala caught him in a net, breaking his leg and forcing SG-1 to deliver presents on Christmas Eve. Daniel started wondering if he was losing his mind.
