Clint wasn't sure if anyone would want to see him about their kids, but his office gave him a nice space to organize his arrows and hang out with Barney at the same time. He thought he looked at least slightly professional, but he'd have to see if anyone else agreed.

Clint was only slightly worried about the parents, really. "That's me," he said with a smile. "Can I help you?"

"Christopher Pike," he said, offering a hand to shake. "I'm here about Jim Kirk."

"Ah. Jim's a good kid," Clint said, shaking his hand. "At least he is in my class."

"Mr. Barton?" Susan enquired. "I'm Miss Baker."

Clint felt the sudden need to sit up a little straighter. "Hi. Are you here about a student?"

Susan had that effect on people. "I am," she said. "Rilla Blythe?"

"Aww, Rilla," Clint said, smiling. "She's a really nice girl."
