And I can't believe I've never asked before - may I friend you? xD

I'm trying! Sometimes it takes me a long time, but I promise I'm certainly stewing over something... ;) And by all means, friend away! All I post here is fic, but I'd be honored to add you as a friend! :D
Thanks again!

Stewing over something? This is very good news. 8D Any teasers because I'm an impatient nut - but don't feel like you have to say anything! D:
Okay, will friend! :D And, you're welcome. :)

I really don't want to give anything away, but not because I'm trying to maintain some air of "mystery" or something stupid like that. It's just that it's still really early in the works and it's a fairly big undertaking (lots of research to be done!), so I don't want to promise something and then not deliver...because I am notorious for epic failing (in my last fic fandom, anyway... *shudders as she gets embarrassed thinking of her last "big" story that she never finished, and never will, because she's a loser* ;)

It is such a treat to read a fic from you, dear.
This week has been particularly good as both you, and the lovely thinkpink20 have both posted wonderful fics :D
Your ideas for stories are amazing, and your writing ability always astounds me.
Mustn’t touch, John.
John had really, really tried. And the warning never left him, but it hardly mattered. Each time he sought out those eyes, or they sought out his (across a stage, across a room, across a bed), he knew that Mimi had been so very wrong. ...these lines, dear are just amazing, and so are you.
I hope you can post something else soon as it always brightens up my day to read something from you.

I was a bit unsure about the ending, so thanks for mentioning it...it's so great to hear when it works for someone. :)
I'm doing my best to work on more, but I over-analyze, over-research and just all around overly-obsess, so I promise if it takes awhile it's NOT a lack of interest. ;) Thanks again!

But wow. This was amazing, as usual! John's treasures were the sweetest things (especially Paul). They're both something very special and I think you captured it *so* very well. John's curiosity and love of learning will never fail to make me warm and fuzzy and his great puzzle Paul becoming his great love just makes me happier than anything. FABULOUS work! <3 <3 <3

Thanks so much! I totally agree that both John and Paul are so special and unique, and there's no "easy" way to describe either one. I think John's constant curiosity was both a blessing and a curse for him, but it's what allowed him to have so many interesting characters in his life...Paul perhaps most of all. :)
Thank you again! :D

Oh, my goodness, it is SO lovely to read another of your pieces! I've missed your writings and missed the quality and beauty of your work! Your John is always perfect - simply perfect - and I always love how fleshed out of a character he is in your hands. His personality is always so developped and those snippets of Mimi's words in between were just... gah! Perfect!
Beautifully crafted - another of my favorites from you. You write so well, dear... I'm always in awe.
I've missed you! Thank you so much for posting!
Lots and lots of love! <3

Thanks so much, as always...I always do my best to make everyone seem as real as possible, so you pointing that out really makes me happy and feel like I accomplished...something here. Mimi's warnings were what started this piece, so I'm glad that framework worked for you.
Again, I'm happy as anything you're back, and I can't thank you enough for this! Love back to you in spades! :D

You know your comments always mean the world to me, and this one is no different. I know you and I are similar in the fact that we agonize over our stuff (every word sometimes!), so reading this from you makes me feel like it's worth the time. And I always feel like an amateur when I look at how much YOU know about the boys, so I'm, like, flattered beyond words.
I was damn nervous about the Mimi stuff - I don't know how many times I rephrased that! I've always loved "your" Mimi, so your approval is awesome.
Credit where credit is due - I think the Julia/George...vibe, or impression on John, maybe, is something I picked up subconsciously from you. That if maybe he'd had those forces around longer...well, who knows what that might have been, right?
Thanks as always, friend of friends. I love you to death, but you already knew that. ♥ And...well, I promise nothing, but...hmm. Let's just say you may be hearing something about MOAR soon... : ( ... )
