Oh, man, that was so so wonderful! Very hot throughout, but I love how it shifted slightly at the end, and you turned it not to be about sex per se, but about a real connection between the two. I can totally see this happening. Congrats on another amazing fic!!

Aw, oh my goodness - thank you! Yeah, I have a hard time just writing gratuitous sexiness (and by that I mean in my 29 years I've never done it...PRUDE). There needed to be more to the moment for me, so I'm happy that you liked that turn too.

You are just as sweet as can be, my friend - thanks a lot! :D

This has quickly become one of my favourite John/Paul pieces ever.

Um, HOLY CRAP. No lie? I sort of feel like I just won a Pulitzer. That kind of remark from you? SO not worthy. But thank you thank you thank you. :D

I'm really glad you liked that part; I was scared it might be a bit emo, but if you say it works...well, it works. ;)

Thanks as always, friend - can't WAIT for your glorious J/P return!!! Continued NaNo success too! :)

PS, that icon makes me weak-kneed. ;)

Oh, I sort of just fell in love with you a little more. A second reading? And it held up? Holy crow. That's awesome.

LOL...you know, this seems so not hot to me, because a.) really? you all sat around in a room and did this together? and b.) I am such a scaredy cat about writing anything REMOTELY sexy. But again, if you say so, I buy it. :)

IS IT DECEMBER YET? I'm missing your writing like crazy. /will stop sounding stalkery...now ;)

Shit, that was great. Awesome idea for a fic.

Am I smoking hash, or did this actually kind of happen? I think I read somewhere about Paul and John doing this, and Paul calling out Hitler's name once as a joke.

Thank you!

Can't honestly say if you were smokin' the ganj ( ;) ), but this is based on things I've read and heard about those Fabsters, so that's probably why it feels familiar. I know I've read that John used to yell out "Winston Churchill!" to screw with the boys, so...there you go?

Thanks again!

Whoa, you took an oft-repeated theme and did something beautiful with it! I LOVED the metaphor of John being out on a limb, and HAVING been on that limb for a while, and Paul joining him out there without any questions. And I loved the bit where you talk about Paul's eyes being full of trust that John never even had to work to earn. The whole thing was just, yeah, beautiful. ^_^

Thank you! Yeah, it is a subject that seems rather popular, but I tried to twist it in a new, slightly unexpected way, so I'm really happy you enjoyed it! And I'm sort of in love with the idea that Paul's loyalty to John was so unwavering and total, especially in the beginning. :)

Thanks again!

And it's totally canon. I really think as soon as Paul saw John up there, as soon as he joined the band, his loyalties lay with him. And I think Paul is a very loyal sort of guy, who doesn't take that sort of trust back.

Oh yeah. Me and canon are like bread and butter. I can read a well-written AU fic and TOTALLY dig it, but I cannot write anything that doesn't realistically fit in to a timeline or whatever. A weird writing hangup? You be the judge. (Hint: Yes. Yes it is.)

He absolutely seems that way. I think he's still just as loyal to this day to John. Maybe even moreso.
