Oh, this scene. I was genuinely planning on a "Favourite Emily and Lorelai scenes so far" spam and I had it all planned out, and then it took me most of last night to do this one so... I gave it up because what's that? Oh yeah, I have a 3800 word essay due in on Friday and exams coming up. Anyway, this scene, I love it, it breaks my heart.

Awww. "Why can't we have what you and Rory have?" I wish that Emily and Lorelai grew a little closer. There a few genuine moments like this where they want to, but there seem to be far more fights where both of them just want to be right. Emily is frustrating, but Lorelai is just as stubborn, haha.

OMG, a list of favorite Emily/Lorelai scenes would have been AMAZING. Gah, I just adore the relationship between these two more than anything else on GG. I found it SO much more interesting and entertaining than the Rory/Lorelai relationship. Editted out a kinda spoiler, I didn't read the beginning yet, my bad!

Anyway, this scene/whole episode was amazing and hilarious and so perfect. Great choice to spam! Emily is so damn quoteable in this episode.
