The good and the bad

Good: I'm over 5,000 words in my Pony Express story, which is more than half of what's needed for Big Bang. And I'm rockin' and rollin' on it right now, so I should be able to churn out a couple thousand more words this week, putting me darn close to being back on track, word-wise.

Bad: I have 15 file cards that roughly outline the plot arc I had

I have about 150 words of my bigbang story written. No, that's not a typo. One Hundred and Fifty. I'm a short story writer. Don't know what I was thinking signing up for bigbang! I'm too embarrassed to even comment at the BB checkpoints. LOL

Heh, sounds like we have complimentary issues - I don't realize how much plot I have, and you aren't sure you have enough!

See, but it's no big thing - you just have to write two or three short stories... in a row... that deal with the same thing. ;-)
