Surviving bad ideas.

Basically I had these 2 IKEA (Billy) bookshelves that I was planning to bring over to my condo when we moved. Because i've had them for about 5 years they'd turned from white to yellow. But even though they didn't look so new anymore they were still perfectly functional.

So I had a thought, why don't we just give them a fresh

i think you can only paint the billy bookshelves that come in wood colours, and you need to sand them first.

well considering the trouble and cost. I think we'd been better off just buying new bookshelves!
