I'm so sorry that you had difficulty sleeping and were in pain. Delighted that you spoke up, received the meds you needed, and are on the mend. You're very brave. And, hurray for bicycling!

Er, did any of your doctors resemble Wilson?

Funny you should ask that. Because I had a spinal and not general anaesthetic I was fully awake at the beginning in theatre before I was given sedation and the surgeon, who was quite young and good looking came to chat to me. He said not to worry and everything would be fine. Then three of them got hold of the sheet I was lying on and he said right she's only little - one two three- and they flipped me over onto a trolley thing and wheeled me in. I remember him asking for various instruments then next thing I was in recovery and he came to say all had gone well. I suppose he was a bit Wilson like well at least I can pretend that he was. I see him again in two week so I'll check him out then!!!....

Thanks for your kind wishes. Hope you are well and still leading a busy life. I'll get there soon.

He sounds like a doll. Bless him for taking good care of you.

Hope you are well and still leading a busy life.
Feeling good, thank you. Life's a bit crazy right now, but that's okay.

LOL! During my poor sister's extended stay in hospital this summer, we spent much time working out which House character her doctors were! Her consultant was definitely House! (although much more friendly!) then she had a Registrar who was definitely Foreman (he was a Neurologist too!) and we also had a Cameron, Taub and a 13! But alas, no Wilsons! :-(

Gosh, you have been through the wars! I'm so sorry to hear that you have been through so much pain and discomfort. Really pleased to see that you have got the help you needed and can hopefully start to move forward now!

Cycling? Jeez, you're fitter than me! (*looks at bike rusting in the shed...*) ;-)
