[Edit] SM Town concert fancams in the comments and a SSF fancam of the performance of The Boys during the fanmeet added to this post. It's almost painful to see how tired Taeyeon and Yoona are.
History in the making! First ever U.S. fanmeet! *cue craziness and chaos

Yuri's English - sososososossosooooooo fail XD Definitely hecka amusing.
*Would my experience have been different had I been like, front row? Probably. But that goes to show that that kind of experience is limited and everyone else just kinda falls in line. I'm not trying be a downer but that's part of what I came away with. That being said, I still don't regret going~

1. Ahahahaha Yuri shuffling in late, and then having to fight Hyo for the center spot.
2. And she was pretty lacklustre for the rest of Go Girl after that. It's like she forgot the section after the butt train or just flat out didn't care.
3. Uh, you got a problem when Minho is outdancing you.
Ahahahahaha Yuri ahahahahaha. I feel bad about finding her scramble onto the stage so funny, but still. XD
SOOYOUNG. WEAVE. ASDF. UNF UNF UNF.

You know between these fancams and how people were describing the show, I'm pretty glad I didn't try to go to the SM Town concert. I mean, not only do fancams provide much better vantage point, don't have to deal with all the shit that goes on. Sure, that's part of the whole experience of concerts, but when it's the same stuff? I'd rather watch on my comp.

she also went to the fanmeet. ran there after her midterm so she didn't have to wait in line by the time she got there. interesting note about the other sm town fans coming though. my sister did mention that there were a lot of elfs and shawols at the concert and not as many sones except for the standing areas near the stage. i assume those were probably ssf people that bought tickets together.
another interesting tidbit was the fans they sold as souvenir. she went to two booths and taemin & seohyun fans were sold out at both booths. they finally got a new batch of seohyun fans at the end, but she wasn't able to get any taemin fans. even as a seohyun fan myself, i'm surprised her fans were sold out tbh. overall luna had the most fans left over :(

So wait, your sister came to the fanmeet when they were already letting people in? Niiiiiice. I definitely hated having to wait outside.

Huh. I wish there was a way to get numbers for this breakdown!
Oooh, I heard about the fans. Definitely a lot of Seohyun fans around me, both in line and at the meet.
overall luna had the most fans left over :(
Sadness! I would've thought she'd be getting love over here in the States. God knows Amber has fans up the wazoo here, though, I heard a bunch of people not liking the Jung sisters. (Again, I wonder if it has to do with the fact that most of those people were not solely SNSD fans.)

I laughed when Cara (I think it was her?) had to SSSHHHHH the crowd to quieten them.
It was definitely a last minute thing. Well, the choosing of venue, at least, was done within less than a week before the event. Quite a pity considering this sort of thing doesn't happen often.
Still wish I was there though :(

I was surprised that they got the Best Buy Theater but yeah, wish it had been a bit better.
Hey man, if you'd been there, I'd have sought you out!

I'll be seeing them in Singapore though; I'm expecting lots of drama and bloodbath happening before, during or even after the concert. Should be fun...:D

Did I call it or did I call it? XD I'm sorry your height made it hard to see--I've had that happen to me, too. :(
I get the same sense seeing stars at cons, too. Like I'm not like, "I LOVE YOU!" but I'm like, "Whoa, we're in the same room, at the same time, and even though I may still be mostly seeing you filtered through a screen still (the rooms are so big that they have screens set up throughout the room so that everyone can see clearly), I am listening in real time to this discussion. W00t!"
Writers can give me this feeling too. Like, "You wrote a book, I read it, and now we're somehow in the same room. THIS IS SO WEIRD!" XD

Btw, wtf is your icon?
The whole surreal feeling was very similar to when I went to Takarazuka for the first time. I was like, "OMG, I'm actually here. OMG, these people, I know them. WHOA."
Seeing that fancam from SSF actually made me a bit pissed that I couldn't see them actually perform. 'Cause that's part of what's undeniably awesome about them, y'know? Anyway, I was going to tangent that sometimes, meeting a celebrity in person can kill your image of them, but we've seen so much of SNSD. However, we haven't seen their *absolute true selves* or whatever it's called when they're not in front of the camera. (Because who's to say that what we see in front of the camera isn't true? [insert persona talk that I'm too tired to go into])

That would have been the fun part!
BEARCAT. Can't you recognize my lovely face? :(
You've seen Taka live?
In my heart, I sometimes hope that they are really thinking, "Oh, fuck all this shit. I'd rather be home sleeping. Now somebody buy me ice cream." I'd kind of love to see that too. XD
